Macarons
New to my menu! Macarons are a festive alternative to cupcakes. This meringue-based sweetness is made with almond flour so it’s gluten-free. With just a drop of food coloring I can make them any color you like.
Filling:
- Vanilla buttercream: Classic, creamy and tasteful.
- Chocolate buttercream: Made with natural cocoa.
- Lemon buttercream: Not too sour, not too sweet, made with fresh organic lemon juice and zest.
- Chocolate ganache: This beautiful glaze, made with chocolate and cream, is a tasteful supplement to your macarons.
Price:
12 macarons | $36 |
Cake, cupcake and cookie toppers
Order custom made sugar fondant decorations to decorate your own baked goods. Just place the sugar fondant topper on every cake with a flat surface, on frosted cupcakes, or attach them with a mix of powdered sugar and a few drops of water on cookies. Cakes and cupcakes
Flavors:
All cakes and cupcakes are made with my Belgian ‘quatre quarts’ recipes. I always use local and organically produced eggs. Also available with gluten-free flour and vegan butter.
- Chocolate: Made with natural cocoa which gives the (cup)cake a dark brown color and a warm chocolate taste.
- Vanilla: An old time favorite flavor with kids but also adults.
- Honey and poppy seeds: The poppy seeds give this (cup)cake a crispy texture. The honey adds a special sweetness.
- Apple and cinnamon: No big chunks but grated apple and cinnamon make this a moist and tasteful (cup)cake.
- Lemon: A (cup)cake with a fresh lemon taste. Made with fresh, organic lemon juice and zest.
Frosting:
- Vanilla buttercream: Smooth, creamy and tasteful supplement to any (cup)cake.
- Chocolate buttercream: Perfect on a vanilla or chocolate (cup)cake.
- Lemon buttercream: Made with fresh organic lemon juice and zest, not too sour, not too sweet. Combines great with a vanilla (cup)cake or put it on a lemon (cup)cake to intensify the tangy flavor.
- Chocolate ganache: This beautiful glaze, made with chocolate and cream, is a tasteful supplement for vanilla (cup)cakes. For a ‘delicious double choc experience’ combine it with chocolate (cup)cakes.
Sugar fondant decorations:
Sugar fondant is like edible play doh. I use it to cover cakes, cupcakes and cookies and make decorations. With food coloring gel you can make any color and with some practice any shape. I use cookie cutters, punchers and shaping tools but mostly just my hands to create the figurines. Pricing will depend on the complexity of the design.
